Good times are coming again

Devotional done by EssJee from stand for your marriage . org

Psalm 5:11-12
But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

Do you know that our Lord God only wants what is good for you? He loves you so much; He knows every tear you cry. He sees you when you feel alone and Hopeless. Your pain is His pain, when you laugh He laughs. When you rejoice, He rejoices. When you spend time with Him, He gets so excited. Many of us see God as this old man with a white beard, He is not. He is love and love is in Him, every part of Him is love.

Sometimes we get so focused on the darkness that surrounds us, that we forget about the light shining on us from above. God is I am, He is today, tomorrow, and everyday exactly the same. He never changes; His love for you will never end.

18I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Romans 8:18,25

I have learned that one must spend more time with God, the more time we spend with Him the more we change to the same image as His son Jesus. The more time we spend with God in everything, everything in your life will start to come in line with His word and His promises. You will soon realise that God and His kingdom will start to manifest in your life. This process is not overnight, you got to be diligent with your walk with God and in your devotional time. God doesn’t really care about your knowledge or any other fancy method you may use to impress Him.

He is already impressed with you, He already loves you. All He wants is a humble and repented heart, one He will never reject.

26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will. Romans 8: 26, 27

28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[j] who[k] have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. Romans 8 : 28,29,30

31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Romans 8 : 31 – 35

So child of God let His kingdom come. Stand strong! the Lord rewards those who trust Him and wait patiently for Him to move. Just know your day of victory will come. All Glory to God our saviour and redeemer. Dreams do come true. Let your life be a living testimony of what God can do.
