Come Home!

Devotional done by Ess-Jee from Stand ministries.

Isaiah 43:4-8
Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' and to the south, 'Do not hold them back.' Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth- everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made." Lead out those who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf.

Is this your hearts cry this Christmas season? Are you ready for your breakthrough? Will you fight even harder now for your beloveds soul, and your marriage to be resurrected from the grave?

Jeremiah 24:7
I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart

I really believe that this season were entering is a season of restoration and reconciliation season. I challenge each of you to pray longer, to stand stronger and proclaim louder: God Restores!

Jeremiah 32:38-39
They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them.

Ezekiel 11:19-20
I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.

Speaking out of my own experience waiting for the one you love to return, takes its toll now and then. Seeing other loving couples hugging and holding one another hands, are sometimes so hard to bear. I sometimes just feel hopeless. But then every time I feel that way a soothing hand touches my heart and whisper: Stand strong my Son, it won’t be long now.

Ezekiel 34:11-12
For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness.

We serve such a faithful God. He is so true to His word and His promises. I love Him so much. Let God use you as a masterpiece of His love to your husband or wife. I know that so many broken families dread this time of year. Give the Lord all your pain and despair, have hope.

Hosea 6:1-3
"Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth."

Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you, He’s there with you in that pain. When you feel lonely or miss the one you sacrificing your life for, go to God. He will sooth your pain, He will give you a garment of praise for your spirit of heaviness.

I say again, God will bring your beloved Home. Think of that day , that grand day when both of you will be ready for a marriage resurrected and restored. Off all the people who said your crazy, wow how God would be glorified through your marriage and through you, not giving up no matter what. Then this sadness you experiencing now will be long forgotten.

Maybe your turn for restoration is tomorrow? Stand strong and prepare your heart for your beloveds return, and they will.

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

All glory to God our saviour through Jesus the Christ.
