The Vineyard

A beautiful thing a vineyard is. I find in the early morning in spring, the green leaves radiate glory, light is beautiful, gentle and soft. In summer we enjoy the fruits, there is something about grapes out the cold fridge on a summers day. Autumn brings with it the palette of orange leaves, a medley of reds and browns to tease our eyes. And then the nakedness of winter, the branches revealed and exposed to battle the chills of icy nights and windy days.

The twists and struggles of growth revealed in the bark. Patiently waiting the return of spring. Knowing that around the next sunrise brings the promise of new growth and delivery of a new and more abundant harvest.

Genesis 40:9-10
9 - And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me; 10 - And in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:

I pray that we all have our lives washed by the blood of Christ. It is only by his wine that our hurting can stop. Though it is only through our Godly suffering that we are able to witness and give Glory to Gods Miracles

Genesis 49:11
11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:

We simply cannot do this on our own, I can only STAND with my heart in Jesus' hands.

Leviticus 25:5, 11
5 - That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land. 11 - A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

That we become obedient to the one that died for us, so that we understand what it means when we STAND for our lost loved ones as well as each other.

Numbers 6:4
4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.

That we may pray continually for the protection and salvation of our lost loved ones captured and placed into the pigpen. That they are released and healed in Jesus Christ.

Deuteronomy 32:32
32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:

Judges 9:12-13
12-Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us. 13- And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?

Judges 13:14
14 She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe.

1 Kings 4:25
25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

That our restorations are swift, and all Glory to our King in gratitude for His abundance and prosperity!

2 Kings 4:39
39 And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.

That our minds remain fixed on Christ as we are not to be led astray or deceived.

2 Kings 18:31
31 Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern:

We are part of the True Vine and whilst the pain of our lives being pruned may be excruciating, it is by our Lords Hand.He knows best and are harvest will be for our benefit because He loves us.

God Bless
