John 16:24 (Amplified Bible)

24Up to this time you have not asked a [single] thing in My Name [as [a]presenting all that I AM]; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete.

Do you know how powerful your words are? They have the power to put you in defeat or get you to a place of victory. In proverbs the author tells us that life and death is in the tongue and those who use it will eat the fruits from it. Scary in one way, but also powerful in another way. Jesus knew the power of His father living in Him. He knew His authority and understood the principle of proclamations.

Derek Prince described it so beautifully; the more you pray scripture over your situation the more you will start to change your consciences, the more your believe, Gods power will grow, the more faith you will have, the more powerful your prayers will become. The more we pray out loud the more we will believe what we are praying will come to pass.

A Professor of phycology, ones claimed that the more you hear your own voice proclaiming stuff, the more your heart start to believe it. With everything in any principle, to start proclaiming will take time and effort. Things will not change overnight, but if you are diligent in this, you will surely reap what you sow. To have faith one needs patience. The problem with most believers is that they want to do something once or twice, and then they want to see the results.

Like many athletes today, you can ask them how many hours they trained to get there desired results. Some of them train days sometimes months. Sometimes we will stand for a breakthrough, pray day and night diligently for months and sometimes years and we see nothing happening. Most people give up and say that Gods word doesn’t work. The key is to keep on going till your breakthrough comes. If you see nothing happening in the natural it doesn’t mean that nothing is going on in the spiritual.

"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." John 16:33

God is a faithful God and His word will never return void to you and me, but will accomplish everything we send it to. Keep on praying for a loved one or a situation you want to change, don’t give up. We serve an Almighty God who sends His son to die for us so that we can have the fullness and power of His victory in our daily lives.

Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God

Heres some scriptures you can start praying, while you do your devotional time, ask the Holy Spirit to make some scriptures life to you that is applicable to your situation.

Philippians 4:19
And my God will supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus

1 Peter 5:7
Casting all my anxiety on Him, because He cares for me.

2 Tim 1:7 (AMP)

For God did not give me a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given me a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

Psalm 16:8 (AMP)

I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Psalm 62:6 (AMP)

He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be moved.

1 Peter 5:7 (AMP)

Casting the whole of my care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for me affectionately and cares about me watchfully.

Isaiah 26:3

"The steadfast of mind You will keep ME in perfect peace, Because I trusts in You.

Isaiah 61:10-11

10 I delight greatly in the LORD;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up
and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise
spring up before all nations.

Be strong dear brother or sister and know that you know the Lord is moving on your behalf.
