Greetings and Blessings fellow Standers for Christ Jesus

I would like to share with you the first time I realized the power and the extent to which the enemy will and can reach into ones heart, mind, spirit and soul:

Whilst undergoing a deliverance session, the Holy Spirit guided me in request that I go and place my heart to the feet of the Cross.

Now in my minds eye, I could see this cross on a hill with a darkened orange summer sky and a city below. facing the cross, I sensed that the air temperature did not feel right, it was cold when it would have made sense to be warm.

There was the most subtle sense of cynicism in the air. In a nut shell, it did not feel right. I pulled my mind out of the vision.

I was then urged to go back and find my heart at the feet of the cross.

This time I went back and the atmosphere felt right, I asked the cross a question, the answer given was exactly what I wanted to hear, yet a small voice said to me ' you are been given that answer because when it doesn't happen, you'll be disappointed and lose Faith.Again I withdrew from the vision.

What happened next was for me a revelation like I have never experienced. The Holy Spirit bound the Gate keeper and chased the spirit of deception out of my soul. I went back to the Cross, this time I immediately felt like I had come home, everything felt , well of ,Love. I asked the Cross the same question, and with a warm, comforting loving tone answered, 'of course Sean, I am the God of Miracles and for Me nothing is Impossible'.

I placed my heart at the feet of the Cross.

"Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

Matthew 24:4-5

"For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect - if that were possible."

Matthew 24

Well, though very tired and weary after that evening, I drove home with a wonderful sense of peace and comfort. If my faith had been weak and I had not measured every detail to the real Cross , who knows what would have happened to my by being deceived by the false cross.

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron."

1 Timothy 4:1-2

I would like to enforce the similarity to the two crosses was uncanny, one forgets that the enemy was once the prince of light, and his tricks are very clever, sublte and sublime.

I urge you to test everything to the Cross, and if sounds to good to be true - it probably isn't.One needs to have the Faith that God is in control, our minds will trick us into disappointment and thus break our Faith if we do not fill ourselves with the greatest amount of trust in Jesus Christ.

"And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."

2 Peter 3:15-18

It is my hope that this testimony builds ones Faith in Christ by having the right tools to fight the enemy, please remember your armour:

The Helmut of Salvation: Protects the mind of Christ in you from the relentless attacks of the enemy. Remember that the enemy is a liar; He will twist the Word of God (Luke 4),
He will plant seeds of distrust in you to get your to question your relationship to God (Genesis 3).

The Breastplate of Righteousness: Gives protection to our new hearts created in us by God (Ezekiel 11:19, 18:31, 36:26). “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Rom 10:10) Second, the Breastplate covers our sin stained past, we have all sinned and fallen short, we are new creations, therefore it is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me. We have been clothed with Christ and when God looks at us he see the righteousness of Christ if we choose to put on Christ.

The Belt of Truth: Truth is vital to a solder. Knowledge of the enemy and their position helps protect that soldier from injury. The belt of truth also protects our weakest and most vulnerable area. When a soldier lives by the truth he will overcome the enemy. “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32).

Gospel Boots: the gospel brings people from one place to another, just as a soldier must be ready to move to protect themselves. People that accept the Gospel, are brought out of sin and eternal separation from God, and led forth in peace unto eternal life. The gospel is our defense against an unseen enemy that accuses us to God. We must be ready to spread the gospel where ever we go.

The Shield of Faith: The shield defends us from the FACTS OF LIFE. We live, we die, that’s all there is. If you cannot see it, if you cannot touch it then it doesn’t exist. Jesus said he was the way, the truth, and the life. What ever the facts of life maybe Jesus is still the truth, still the king of kings, and lord of lords, and there is nothing that can come upon us the he doesn’t have the answer for!!

The Sword of the Spirit: The sword of the spirit defends us in the heavens. The word of God is life to those that hear and receive. A soldier able to properly use his sword can defend against more than one attacker at a time. Soldiers in Christ who properly wield the sword of the spirit and word of truth can withstand whole armies of hell itself and remain untouched and even victorious over those same attackers.

If you are now fully armored, clothed in Christ, then it is time for you the soldier in Christ to arm your self! God has bestowed on you weapons of warfare that are mighty, not carnal. These weapons when used being a soldier in Christ can defeat anything the enemy might attempt.

There are some weapons that come immediately to mind Prayer, Fasting, and of course the Word of god, but let us remember that our god is a vastly superior being that offers us every spiritual blessing in heaven (Eph 1:3). The lord has given weapons that must be trained with and implemented in a soldier’s life to be effective. Today we look at the weapons: Humility, Grace, Consistency, Fellowship, Encouragement, and Love.

These weapons are centered in Eph 3-4 and are but a few of the weapons available to the soldier.

Humility: Eph 3:8, “To me who am the less than the least of all the saints.” What powerful weapon humility becomes in the face of pride. When the soldier becomes spiritually humble, there is no way for pride to destroy that soldier, there is no conflict left to resolve.

God Bless

Stander Sean
