 LOVE

Love never fails...

“If love really is unconditional, it will hold any weight, face any doubt, persist through hopelessness, and last any trial”

The Bible tells us that Love is one of the strongest and most powerful substances we as human beings can ever possess;

1. Love will never fail us.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

1 Corinthians 13:8

2. Love is the power behind all the gifts of God.

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1

3. If we don’t love, all else in life doesn’t really matter.

If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing 1 Corinthians 13:2

4. Love died for us, so that we can love others, through His love.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 John 3:16(King James)

5. Even when we didn’t deserve God’s love, He still chose to send His only son to die for all our sin.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

6. The Lord was the forerunner for you and me. He came to this earth to demonstrate to us what kind of love He wants from us; non-changing love for Him and each other.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his beloved. - John 15:13 (KJV)

Were love is there is hope. Our God’s make up is love. His whole being is love. God doesn’t punish us anymore. If we still believe that God punishes us, it is like saying that the cross of Jesus was not a complete sacrifice for all our sins.

For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. Hebrews 10:14

Let’s start to pray to our Lord that He will complete His love in us. Where there is love there is no fear, rejection, loneliness etc; the list goes on and on. We’re built to love and I personally believe that the Lord included 1 Corinthians 13 to give each of us a blue print to start off WITH. This is a clue to what He, the designer of love, meant.

Love = Word of God = Jesus = Sacrifice

Love was, and will always be, and will surely set free, love is hope;

Love will never fail, AMEN
