The Dessert

Col 1:16-17
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

I’ve looked to the heavens and we don’t even understand how enormous the universe really is, its never-ending. Me and my family went to the dessert for a week and it astonish me how great and beautiful the dessert can be. But if we focus on the circumstances in the dessert and all its dryness and nothingness one feels a bit abounded and alone. I know at the beginning of my stand with God for the healing of my marriage it felt this way, empty dry and lonely , seemed that this dessert was endless and without ever ending.

The real dessert aren’t that different as a spiritual dessert , they are exactly the same. But how longer you live in the dessert the more trained you get to survive and to focus on the right stuff. If you put your focus on the vastness of the dessert and your circumstances, the dessert will take you to your knees. But if you focus on the blue skies above you and set your eyes on it you will forget about your surrounding circumstances and will focus on Jesus, He will lead you threw the dessert to your destination of refreshing.

Matt 14:22-33
Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.  And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.  But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.  Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.  And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out for fear.  But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."  And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."  So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.  But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"  And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"  And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.  Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."

If experienced many times when I take my eyes of Jesus and back to our circumstances we will feel weak and hopeless.

Hebrews 12:1 - 3

1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw

off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author an

d perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him wh

o endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

If we read Hebrews 12 we see that all we must do is to keep our eyes on Jesus, and He will do the rest. This dessert you may be in is just a passing thing, please know that it will pass , it may seem long but remember our Lord and God act quickly and suddenly, lets go this year out with Victory with the Knowledge that the King of the universe are backing us hundred percent.

Be Strong
