O Sovereign GOD Prayer

O Sovereign GOD the Sovereign Lord, the strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of battle. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Sovereign LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. For who is Sovereign God besides the Sovereign LORD? And who is the Rock except our Sovereign God? It is Sovereign God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn.

“O Sovereign LORD, I cry out to you. I will keep on pleading day by day” (Psalm 88:13). “I Trust in the Sovereign LORD with all my heart; do not depend on my own understanding. I Seek His will in all I do, and He will direct my paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

"I believe, SO all things are possible for me who believes” I abide in Jesus word, and I am His disciple indeed. 32 And I shall know the truth, and the truth shall make ME free.” But You, O Sovereign LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. My defense is of God, Who saves the upright in heart. The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. Let those who love the Sovereign LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me.

But the Sovereign Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior! He is the God who avenges me, who puts the nations under me, who sets me free from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from violent men you rescued me. Therefore I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to your name.

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone…Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil--and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Lord, I will not get weary in my most important responsibility toward my (spouse), that is, praying for (spouse), but I will keep at it, watching for Your answers and remembering to thank You when they come (Col. 4:2). I know that as I pray for my (spouse), and as the Holy Spirit helps (spouse), you will cause all things to work together for the good of our marriage (Phi. 1:19, Rom. 8:28).Certainly you do not want a sacrifice, or else I would offer it; you do not desire a burnt sacrifice. The sacrifices God desires are a humble spirit –O God, a humble and repentant heart you will not reject. Because you favour (spouse), do what is good for (spouse)!I declare That (spouse) would be ever captivated by my love.Eph 5:33 Help (spouse) to love me as You have called (spouse) to. May she/he respect  me, notice me, regard me, honor me, prefer me, venerate and esteem me, and that she would defer to me, praise me, love me, and admire me exceedingly.

Lord, open my wife/husband spiritual eyes to see Your Light, Your Truth and the way of escape from the chains of  bondage that they are living in. Nothing is too hard for You to do. I choose to believe in Your mighty power.

(spouse) is my wife/husband, GOD. YOU have given her/him for me and YOU do not make any mistakes. Now I take my wife/husband and I pray us under the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST and put us as a unit before your throne. GOD, I declare these words today: “BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD” (Joshua 24:15).

"I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments, please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant which I prayer before You now, day and night, for (spouse) my wife/husband Your daughter/son, and confess the sins of the (spouse)which she/he has sinned against You. Both her/his father's house and she/he have sinned. They have acted very corruptly against You, and have not kept commandments, the statutes, nor the ordinance which You commanded Your servant Moses." (Nehemiah 1:5-7) 'Lord, do not hold this sin against them.'"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

"Lord I want my spouse to be set free from the bondages of sin. Lord, I am praying for my spouse's salvation and for our marriage to be resurrected, healed and rebuilt by Your mighty power.  Lord God I asked of you to help (spouse)to put away her/his selfishness. She/he  needs to first respond to Your love o God by agreeing with You. She/he needs to acknowledge how she/he has turned away from Your loving plan for her/his life and desire Your and My love now.

Lord (spouse) needs Your forgiveness for all(spouse)unsubmissiveness including her/his poor attitudes. I Confess for (spouse) how she/he didn’t trust You Lord in those difficult circumstances. Through Jesus Christ (spouse) will find forgiveness for her/his sins, restoration of her/his soul and her/his marriage, and a fresh new start that never has an end. Lord I place both me and(spouse)as a unit before Your throne, you pronounce us one and that is what we shall be no more 2 but one so we, Acknowledge that You know the best plan for our life’s and that we will trust You o God, to lead us to fulfil this plan , in that I will love my (spouse) unconditionally and she/he will return to You and to me .

Dear Lord, it is time for (spouse) to change. She/he has avoided her/his responsibilities. (spouse) have pursued her/his own desires and gone her/his own way. All she/he got was emptiness and a void. She/he has not paid attention to you and your purposes o Lord God. She/he has been too insistent on getting what she/he thinks she/he needs. Here you have this great design for (spouse)’s life, and she/he have hardened herself/himself to it.

(spouse) no longer wants to be part of the problem, but with your love flowing through her, to be part of the solution. Lord, through Jesus Christ, please forgive (spouse) for her/his selfish ways and restore her/him to You. Forgive her/his for (spouse) unsubmissiveness shown in both her/his attitudes and acts against me her husband/wife.

Grant (spouse) no greater passion than to respond fully and warmly to You and your plans. Help(spouse)o Lord. Her/his faith is so small. There will be times she/he will not understand your ways, but they do desire them. Now may Your waves of love overflow and refresh her/his heart that Your love in (spouse) may splash over into the lives of those around(spouse).

Lord, I pray that you would help (spouse)to be your faithful representative to me her husband/wife. She/he has made it rough for me. (spouse) have been selfish in her/his thinking; she/he have demanded her/his own time. (spouse) now affirms that she/he (spouse) die to her self/him self, O Lord. Let (spouse)serve You by faithfully serving me. May you see her/his love for You as You see her/his faithful service to me her/his husband/wife. In Christ Jesus I pray, Amen.
